Submissions

Submissions are currently open until March 15th, 2015.

Submissions may not be longer than 8,000 words. The writer or artist must be a current Knox student or post-baccalaureate at the time of submission.

How to Submit

All manuscripts must be submitted via e-mail as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file attachments. Your name should not appear on the document so as to allow for blind submissions. Follow typical manuscript guidelines: prose must be double-spaced, poetry single-spaced; use 12-point font Times New Roman or the equivalent; number all pages. For specifications on visual art, please e-mail us. Address your e-mail to quiversubmissions@gmail.com. Include the following information in the body of the email:

• the title of the work, 
• the genre(s) of the piece, 
• your full name, 
• expected year of graduation, 
• K-box number, 
• telephone number,
• and whether you wish to receive comments on your work from the editorial board. 

If your piece is an excerpt from a longer work, please also indicate this. By submitting, you are agreeing that if selected, your work becomes the property of the Knox College English Department and that it may be published online for all the world to see. You also agree that the editorial board may make minor grammatical and readability changes to your manuscript in order to prepare it for publication in the magazine.
